Trackpad Driver. Thread starter. On the forum in this site there is a topic about touchpad drivers. Make is advent model is 'modena' OS is windows xp pro SP3. Laptop is an advent 4401. So, I've got problems with my touchpad, in as much as it doesn't work. To make it work I have to go into the device. ADVENT TOUCHPAD - posted in Hardware, Components and Peripherals: I have an Advent Modena M200 laptop. My problem is 'Tapping' when I am doing anything on it and I even brush the touchpad it shoots off and opens something else or the cursor will relocate and I end up typing rubbish because Im now in the middle of a document. You need to install touchpad drivers then it will work properly. I got a ADVENT Modena M201 Laptop and I know how to turn the webcam on but there's no programme on.

Please follow the steps to run hardware troubleshooter on the computer and check if that helps you:

a) Press Windows and X key together and select Control Panel.

b) Click on Troubleshooting.

c) Click on View all option on the left side of the Windows.

d) Click on Hardware and Devices option.

e) Click on Next and follow the onscreen instructions to troubleshoot the issue.

Method 2:
If the issue persists, I would suggest you to download and install latest touchpad driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps. Curl mac os.

To install the touchpaddrivers in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps.

a. Download the latest touchpad driver for Windows 10 from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
b. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.
d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select the operating system from the drop down list.
e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
